Semi-Automated JIT Production Environment

Idler Manufacturing Equipment:
  • Bearing set by standard stroke to eliminate end play, and ensure bearing alignment.

Robotic Welder Process
  • Ensures consistent Weld coverage around circumference of the Bearing Cavity
  • Aligns Bearing Cavities accurately from end to end with Servo controlled locating arms
  • Tacks end cap prior to welding final bead to minimize heat draw that would cause additional Indicated Run Out
